This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students in developing essential life skills across a range of grade levels from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Working in an educational setting in Cambridge, MA, you will play a key role in fostering growth, independence, and confidence among students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging life skills curricula tailored to students in grades K-5, 6-8, or 9-12.
  • Support individualized learning and development plans to meet students' unique goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction methods to optimize outcomes.
  • Provide practical instruction in areas such as personal care, communication, social skills, and daily living tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching life skills to students in at least one of the following grade bands: K-5, 6-8, or 9-12.
  • Strong understanding of developmental stages and learning strategies suited for diverse learners.
  • Ability to create an empathetic, patient, and motivating classroom atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant teaching credentials or certifications in special education or related fields are a plus.
