Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification, preferably with an endorsement in Special Education or Life Skills
• Demonstrated success working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and/or 9-12
• Experience developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs
• Understanding of differentiated instruction techniques tailored to unique student learning styles
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and service providers
• Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive classroom culture

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver life skills instruction to students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
• Adapt lesson plans to address varying learning abilities and objectives
• Collect and analyze student data to track progress and modify instruction as needed
• Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and counselors to support holistic student growth
• Build positive relationships with families, keeping them involved in their child’s education
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all relevant regulations
