Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification appropriate for listed grade levels
• Experience with life skills curriculum or related instructional programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Ability to adapt lesson plans for individual needs and varied learning styles
• Skill in collaborating with fellow educators, administrators, and families
• Organization and creativity to make life skills engaging and relevant

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver interactive life skills lessons tailored to elementary, middle, and high school students
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing personalized support or adjustments as required
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where all learners feel valued
• Work alongside colleagues and families to create a cohesive support system for each student
• Encourage growth in areas such as decision-making, financial literacy, communication, and personal responsibility
• Maintain accurate records and meet district or state reporting requirements
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional strategies
