Grades K - 5 Grades 6 - 8 Life Skills Teacher in Dallas, TX

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification appropriate for grades K–12 (or pending certification)
• Experience teaching Life Skills or working with students receiving special education services
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, behavior management, and IEP implementation
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and problem-solving abilities to address a variety of student learning profiles

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, individualized Life Skills curriculum for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Implement IEP goals and accommodations in daily instruction
• Collaborate regularly with support staff and other teachers to foster student success
• Track and report on student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Communicate proactively with families and caregivers, encouraging partnership in student achievement
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages social, academic, and emotional growth
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
