K-5 Grades 9 - 12 Life Skills Special Education Teacher - Opelika, Alabama

Serving grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, you will work within a supportive school environment dedicated to fostering growth and independence among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging life skills curriculum tailored to varied grade levels (K-5, 6-8, 9-12).
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and support staff to enhance student development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
• Implement strategies to promote social, emotional, and practical life abilities.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience teaching life skills across multiple grade levels (K-12) is highly valued.
