Grades K - 5 Grades 6 - 8 Life Skills Teacher in Salem, MA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification appropriate for K–12 or specific to Life Skills or Special Education
• Experience or strong interest in working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Ability to tailor lessons and strategies to diverse age groups and learning styles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with students, families, and colleagues
• Adaptability and patience in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and tracking student progress
• Knowledge of best practices in life skills curricula, sensory supports, and behavior management is a plus

• Create engaging and practical lesson plans focused on daily living, social interaction, and independence
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom where students feel respected and motivated to learn
