- Strong proficiency in G and J tube care, seizure management, tracheostomy care and suctioning, and VNS support
- Prior experience within educational or pediatric settings
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 45-minute commute
- Punctuality and consistent attendance are critical, especially as bus riding may be required
Duties will include:
- Providing dedicated 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day and possibly during bus transport
- Monitoring, managing, and documenting seizure activity and behaviors
- Administering specialized nursing procedures such as G/J tube feeding, trach care, suctioning, and VNS device monitoring
- Collaborating closely with the district’s behavior team and educators to ensure the student’s safety and well-being
- Offering a calm, supportive presence for a semi-verbal, ambulatory student with unique needs
