Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid California LVN/LPN license
- Experience in pediatric or school settings preferred
- Ability to work comfortably in a 1:1 nursing assignment
- Skilled in providing both routine and emergency nursing care to children and adolescents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Flexibility, compassion, and proactive problem-solving ability
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual nursing support to a designated student during the school day
- Administer medications, monitor health status, and manage medical equipment as needed
- Provide health education and advocacy to promote student wellness
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and school administration regarding student needs and progress
- Maintain accurate health records in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or changes in student condition
