Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active LPN/LVN license in California
- Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or with children/adolescents strongly preferred
- CPR certification (current and valid)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
- Capable of adapting in fast-paced or changing environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and health services to students, including medication administration, treatments, and first aid
- Manage and document student health records while maintaining confidentiality
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans for students with special medical needs
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics, disease prevention, and safety
- Serve as a resource for health emergencies and respond appropriately to urgent situations
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and school personnel regarding student health concerns
