Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active LPN/LVN license in California
  • Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or with children/adolescents strongly preferred
  • CPR certification (current and valid)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Capable of adapting in fast-paced or changing environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care and health services to students, including medication administration, treatments, and first aid
  • Manage and document student health records while maintaining confidentiality
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans for students with special medical needs
  • Educate students and staff on health-related topics, disease prevention, and safety
  • Serve as a resource for health emergencies and respond appropriately to urgent situations
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and school personnel regarding student health concerns
