1:1 Certified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Anderson, SC

Make a meaningful impact while working as a licensed practical nurse supporting a remarkable high school student on a 1:1 basis. You’ll provide expert care during the school day, including riding the school bus with your assigned student. The individual in your care is paralyzed but cognitively high functioning—creating an energetic and rewarding work environment.

Key qualifications:

• Must be an LPN—active and clear license required
• Experience working with ventilator-dependent patients highly desired
• Previous school nursing or pediatric experience is a plus
• Certified and eligible to work in a school environment
• Compassionate and attentive, with strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 medical assistance and support to a high school student during the school day and on the bus to/from school
• Monitor and manage the student’s medical needs, including ventilator support as necessary
• Collaborate with school personnel, medical professionals, and the student’s family to support educational access and health
• Advocate for the student’s well-being while promoting their independence and participation
