Licensed High School School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Anderson, South Carolina

Provide dedicated 1:1 assistance for a bright, high-functioning student with paralysis, ensuring their medical needs are met so they can fully participate in the school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license with active certification
• Experience with ventilator care required
• Prior work with students or young adults preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate, attentive care in a 1:1 environment
• Comfortable working in a high school setting and riding the bus to and from school
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care to a cognitively high-functioning paralyzed student
• Supervise and assist with specialized medical needs throughout the school day
• Accompany student on the school bus for safe transportation to and from school
• Collaborate with school staff, family members, and medical professionals to support student success
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment at all times
• Accurately document all care provided and any notable observations
