A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) is needed to provide health room coverage within a K-12 school setting in Apopka, FL. This contract role supports student health services, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff throughout the academic school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer basic nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments
• Monitor student health and respond to medical emergencies as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school policies
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student wellness
• Educate students on health and hygiene practices
• Ensure the health room is stocked and organized

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN/LVN license
• Experience providing nursing care in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple health concerns simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of healthcare protocols within an educational environment

Job Duration: Contract through the current school year, ending May 28th
