Key Qualifications:

• Active California LVN license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a health services team
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Adaptable and organized with the ability to support multiple students with varying health needs
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to school health protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health care services, including administering medications, first aid, and emergency care to students and staff
• Support individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions, allergies, or special needs
• Maintain accurate health records and document all treatments provided
• Collaborate with school administration, teachers, and families to promote student health and safety
• Offer guidance and education on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Participate as an essential member of a pool of LVNs, rotating as needed to ensure coverage across school campuses

This contract position offers a structured, school-based schedule of 32.5 hours per week during the regular school year, with optional opportunities for extended school year (ESY) assignments based on need and sign-up.
