In this unique role, you’ll provide essential nursing support during the school day and accompany a student on their bus ride to and from home, ensuring a smooth and secure transition.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current LPN license in good standing
  • Experience working with children, particularly in educational or pediatric settings
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, compassionate demeanor
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and follow care plans
  • Flexibility to travel with a student on the bus before and after school
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (required)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled nursing care for elementary and Pre K students in the school setting
  • Support students’ medical and daily living needs throughout the day
  • Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to health emergencies
  • Participate actively in the daily bus commute to ensure the assigned student’s safety to and from home
  • Collaborate with school staff, faculty, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate health records and keep families and school personnel informed
