Key Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of Georgia
  • Previous experience in school settings or pediatric care strongly preferred
  • Ability to assess and respond to student health needs quickly and compassionately
  • Skilled in medication administration, care plan implementation, and health record maintenance
  • Effective communicator with students, parents, and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to students, including medication administration and first aid
  • Support students with chronic conditions, developing individualized health plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and health regulations
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and ensure students’ safety
  • Provide health education and counseling to promote healthy choices within the school community
  • Participate in IEP or 504 plan meetings as needed
