School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Barnesville, Georgia

As an LPN in this role, you’ll focus on one-on-one care for a student with a central line and G-tube, partnering with school staff and family to create a safe, supportive atmosphere. Your knowledge and compassion ensure continuity of care, helping the student thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:

• Current Georgia LPN license (required)
• Experience with central lines and G-tube care preferred
• School-based nursing experience is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt and respond to changing needs
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to pediatric care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver healthcare services to a kindergarten student as indicated in the care plan
• Monitor and maintain central line and G-tube integrity, and attend promptly to any related needs
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Communicate clearly with parents, educators, and care team regarding student health
• Maintain accurate health documentation
• Respond calmly and efficiently to medical emergencies
• Support the student during school hours (8 am – 3 pm), ensuring safety and wellbeing
