School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Bedford, New Hampshire

We are seeking a dedicated, full-time LPN to provide personalized care to a student with complex medical needs for the academic year, from late August through mid-June. This contract opportunity runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, offering the chance to make an impactful difference in a student’s daily experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Active LPN or LVN license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Recent experience in a school or pediatric setting, preferred
• Proficiency in supporting students with significant medical needs, including management of a feeding tube
• CPR and First Aid certification (current)
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff
• Professionalism, adaptability, and compassion are a must

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver focused, one-on-one care to a middle school student with medically complex needs throughout the school day
• Manage and monitor the student’s feeding tube, ensuring safety and best practices
• Accompany two students on the morning school bus route, providing care and support as needed during transit
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of health services provided
• Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Support a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment for all students
