School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Bellevue, Washington

This contract position centers around working 1:1 with a 7-year-old female student who relies on comprehensive nursing support throughout her school day. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active LPN/LVN license required
• Previous pediatric or school-based nursing experience highly desired
• Confidence in supporting non-verbal students; familiarity with alternative communication devices preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with G-tubes and tracheostomies
• Ability to safely assist with lifting and transfer for wheelchair/adaptive stroller use
• Comfortable providing full support for diapering, including utilizing an adjustable changing table and performing two-person transfers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ride the bus with the student, assisting with pick-up at 9:00am and drop-off at 4:21pm, ensuring safety and comfort
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care during the school day, including g-tube feeding and trach management
• Provide support for all activities of daily living, including dressing, diapering, and mobility
• Maintain clear and compassionate communication with educators, therapists, and family members
• Foster a caring, supportive environment to enhance the student’s experience and well-being
