School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) | Billerica, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Massachusetts nursing license as LPN or RN
• Experience supporting children or young adults with significant physical and medical disabilities preferred
• Proficiency in performing pulmonary care, including nebulizer treatments, chest PT with vest, cough assist, and oral suctioning
• Ability to safely use ceiling lifts, assist with total body range of motion, and repositioning throughout the day
• Familiarity with TLSO (torso brace) and AFOs (ankle braces) a plus
• Commitment to providing compassionate, attentive, and professional care in both school and transportation settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver dedicated, individualized nursing support to an 18-year-old student while on campus and during transportation between home and school
• Manage daily medical routines, including respiratory treatments and postural support, in collaboration with school and medical staff
• Maintain clear documentation of care provided along with communication regarding the student’s well-being and needs
• Support student’s access to educational programming, assisting with positioning and mobility throughout the school day
