School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Blue Diamond, Nevada

Step into an opportunity to make a difference supporting students in a school environment close to Blue Diamond, NV. This contract position seeks two skilled LPNs ready for a rewarding, hands-on role. Starting August 10th and wrapping up October 12th, you’ll attend valuable training sessions on August 4th (afternoon) and August 7th (morning) to prepare you for success. This is a full-time, on-site assignment, with no virtual or hybrid options, and offers the chance to deliver essential care to a student requiring specialized medical support.

Your focus will be a 1:1 assignment involving tracheostomy assistance and, ideally, GT feeding care. The assignment spans multiple school sites in the Las Vegas area, covering locations near Flamingo and Boulder Highway, extending toward Henderson. School details and specific caseload assignments will be shared closer to your start date.

What you need to thrive in this role:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Experience providing trach care; GT feeding skills are a plus
• Previous pediatric or school nursing background highly preferred
• Confidence managing independent, 1:1 care assignments
• Ability to provide up-to-date resume, LPN license details, and photo ID for credentialing
• Willingness to complete district fingerprinting
• Reliable transportation for travel between multiple school sites

Your key responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency medical support to a designated student
• Administer trach care, feeds, and additional health procedures as needed
• Collaborate with school staff and communicate any changes in student needs
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of care provided
