School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Blue Diamond, Nevada

Bring your expertise as an LPN to a rewarding full-time contract opportunity supporting students in a 1:1 setting near Blue Diamond, NV. This school-based position focuses on delivering personalized care to a student requiring tracheostomy management, with assignments in the vibrant Las Vegas area. Training is provided on August 4th (afternoon) and August 7th (morning), prior to the school year’s start on August 10th. The role continues through October 12th, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact in a student’s daily life. Please note: this position is fully on-site; remote or hybrid options are not available.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active LPN license
• Valid and up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or similar settings preferred
• Skilled with trach care; familiarity with GT feeds is highly desirable
• Ability to manage health protocols and emergency situations calmly
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare teams
• Must submit LPN license details, recent resume, image of driver’s license, and a valid email address for consideration
• Willingness to comply with district’s fingerprinting process (instructions provided upon offer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care for a student requiring tracheostomy services throughout the school day
• Assist with other healthcare procedures, including GT feeds as needed
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment across multiple campuses as assigned
• Communicate with school staff, parents, and medical professionals regarding student health needs

Candidates will have the chance to interview on June 26th, scheduled at 9am PST and throughout the morning in half-hour slots.
