School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Boston, Massachusetts

A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is needed at a school setting in Boston, MA, to provide classroom-based support with a combination of nursing and paraprofessional duties. This contract position runs immediately through June 20, 2026, serving students with diverse needs during their academic day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health monitoring within the classroom environment
• Assist students with daily school activities and participation in academic programs
• Support teachers as a teaching assistant/paraprofessional to ensure a safe and productive learning experience
• Monitor and respond to student health concerns promptly while working collaboratively with school staff
• Maintain accurate records of student health and attendance in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

• Current LPN or LVN license in good standing
• Previous experience in a school nursing role preferred
• Ability to deliver nursing care alongside instructional support in a classroom setting
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, students, and families
• Patience, flexibility, and dedication to supporting diverse student needs in an educational environment
