School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Boston, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license is required
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric care is highly desirable
• Ability to effectively support medically fragile children with compassion and professionalism
• Comfortable riding the bus with the student to ensure safety and continuous care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educational and clinical teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, individualized care to a medically fragile student throughout the school day and during transportation
• Monitor health status, administer medications, and respond to any medical needs as they arise
• Maintain clear and accurate health documentation in accordance with school policies
• Communicate regularly with families, school staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support
• Foster a nurturing environment to promote student well-being and inclusion in school activities
