School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Boston, Massachusetts

There are two openings for compassionate RN or LPN professionals to work 1:1 with medically fragile children during the upcoming Extended School Year (summer school) program, with potential extension for the full 2026/27 school year. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational staff and make a meaningful difference every day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts LPN or RN license required
• School nursing experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Comfortable and professional in providing individualized care to medically fragile students
• Able to ride the school bus and supervise students during transportation
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned students, both in the classroom and during transport
• Monitor and manage medical equipment as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care
• Respond promptly and appropriately to health emergencies or changes in condition
