School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Boston, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts RN or LPN license in good standing
• Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred
• Confident in performing g-tube feedings and providing personal care/ADLs
• Empathetic, patient, and able to build rapport with children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with school staff and families
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, 1:1 nursing care to an elementary school student with medical needs
• Administer g-tube feedings and oversee all ADLs during the school day
• Monitor the student’s health status and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies
• Maintain accurate, timely health documentation in compliance with school policy
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support the student’s daily needs and academic success
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that encourages participation in school activities
• Arrive at the school by 7:45 AM; the workday ends at 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday. No bus riding required—meet the student at school each day.
