Elementary 1:1 School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Boston, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in Massachusetts
• Prior experience in pediatric or school nursing strongly preferred
• Ability to foster a supportive, encouraging atmosphere for elementary-aged students
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to respond calmly in various situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care and attend to the student’s daily medical needs
• Monitor health status, administer prescribed treatments, and document care accurately
• Support the student during classroom activities, transitions, and throughout the school building as needed
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment conducive to learning and development
• Communicate proactively with educators, health staff, and guardians to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to confidentiality and school health protocols at all times
