What you’ll bring:

  • Current LPN license in good standing
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school-based nursing, particularly with 1:1 cases
  • Ability to support elementary-aged students with both medical and personal needs
  • Skilled in medication administration, tube feeding, seizure protocols, trach or ventilator care (as applicable)
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with educators, families, and healthcare providers
  • Strong sense of professionalism, reliability, and adaptability
  • Compassion and patience working with children

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care in a 1:1 setting, ensuring the student’s health and safety throughout the school day
  • Monitor and manage health conditions including medication administration, emergency response, and routine care plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school administrators to support academic participation
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of care, ensuring compliance with school and healthcare guidelines
  • Provide support during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and transportation as needed
  • Serve as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and school staff
