School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Boulder, Colorado

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active LPN or LVN license
• Previous experience working in pediatric, school, or similar medical settings
• Demonstrated competence in G-Tube feeding, oxygen administration, and oral suctioning
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare teams
• Dependable, compassionate, and adept at handling sensitive medical needs
• Current CPR certification required

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to a medically fragile child during classroom hours
• Monitor, manage, and document the student’s medical condition and interventions
• Administer treatments such as G-Tube feedings and oxygen as prescribed
• Provide oral suctioning and emergency support as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to facilitate individualized care plans
• Maintain detailed and confidential health records in accordance with school policies
