This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced LPN who thrives in a compassionate, educational environment and is ready to provide dedicated care throughout the full academic year and during June (Monday through Thursday).
What we’re looking for:
- Current, active LPN/LVN license
- Experience caring for medically fragile children preferred
- Strong clinical skills, particularly with G-tubes, oxygen management, and oral suctioning
- Proven reliability and punctuality in previous roles
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, therapists, and families
- Commitment to supporting a child’s well-being and optimizing their learning experience
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one nursing care according to individualized health plans
- Manage medical interventions such as tube feedings, respiratory support, oral suctioning, and medication administration
- Monitor the child’s condition and respond promptly to any health concerns during the school day
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate regularly with school staff and parents
- Support inclusion and access to educational activities as directed by the child’s care team
- Participate in team meetings as needed to ensure comprehensive care
