School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Brockton, Massachusetts

A unique opportunity is available for a dedicated LPN or RN to provide individualized care for a student in a dynamic school environment near Brockton, MA. This contract position covers the entire 2026-2027 academic year as well as summer school in 2027, offering a meaningful way to support a student's daily health needs and educational experience.

In this role, you will work closely 1:1 with a wheelchair-bound student, providing skilled nursing care including tracheostomy management, G-tube feeds, toileting assistance, suctioning, and more. Riding the van with the student is a key aspect of this position to ensure continuity of care during transportation. You’ll be scheduled for four days each week, giving you valuable work-life balance. Compensation for this role is competitive—registered nurses will see pay starting at $40 per hour and licensed practical nurses will start at $30 per hour, with weekly pay for added convenience.

Ideal candidates bring:

• A current, valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing highly preferred
• Comfort and proficiency with trach care, G-tube, suctioning, and toileting needs
• Ability to provide compassionate, attentive support in a school setting
• Willingness to ride the van to and from school as part of daily responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled, individualized care to the assigned student throughout the school day
• Monitor and document any changes in the student’s condition
• Collaborate with school staff and the student’s family to optimize care
• Ensure the safe transport and supervision of the student, including during van rides
