What You’ll Do:

• Administer prescribed medications via G-tube, carefully adhering to protocols
• Perform frequent suctioning in line with medical and student needs
• Assist with oral feeding and hydration, ensuring safe consumption and monitoring
• Support toileting and hygiene, promoting comfort and dignity
• Safely assist with lifting, positioning, and transfers using proper equipment and techniques
• Document the student’s health status and promptly communicate concerns
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals
• Keep the student’s environment clean, orderly, and nurturing

What We’re Looking For:

• Current LPN certification
• Experience with children—especially those with complex medical needs—is an asset
• Training or experience in G-tube care, suctioning, and feeding support preferred
• Skilled in physical caregiving, including safe lifting and transfers
• Strong communicator and dependable team member
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Respectful of confidentiality and committed to upholding student dignity
