School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Burnsville, Minnesota

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active K-12 School Nurse license and credentials in good standing.
• Experience as an LPN or RN within a school or similar pediatric setting preferred.
• Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Must maintain “not disqualified” status following a background and Minnesota disciplinary record check.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely, compassionate first aid and emergency care to students on-site.
• Assess and monitor students’ health and development, conducting annual vision and hearing screenings.
• Administer, track, and document medications for both acute and chronic conditions, regularly consulting with physicians and parents as needed.
• Prepare and maintain first aid supplies across the building, supporting a safe school environment for all.
• Act as a health liaison, offering insight and recommendations on student care to both families and school staff.
