What you'll bring:
- Active LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience in school settings, pediatric care, or supporting individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, and students
- Adaptability and a positive attitude toward a dynamic classroom environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Daily responsibilities include:
- Providing classroom assistance as a teaching assistant/paraprofessional, supporting academic and social engagement for students
- Utilizing nursing skills as needed, including basic health monitoring, medication administration, or medical support for individual students according to their education or healthcare plans
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Maintaining clear documentation and following school health protocols
- Assisting students in daily routines, classroom transitions, and other activities to enhance their school day
