School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Cambridge, Massachusetts

What you'll bring:

• Active LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience in school settings, pediatric care, or supporting individuals with special needs preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, and students
• Adaptability and a positive attitude toward a dynamic classroom environment
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Daily responsibilities include:

• Providing classroom assistance as a teaching assistant/paraprofessional, supporting academic and social engagement for students
• Utilizing nursing skills as needed, including basic health monitoring, medication administration, or medical support for individual students according to their education or healthcare plans
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Maintaining clear documentation and following school health protocols
• Assisting students in daily routines, classroom transitions, and other activities to enhance their school day
