Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a specialized school setting near Cambridge, MA. This summer and potentially extending through the 2026/2027 school year, we are seeking compassionate and skilled RNs and LPNs dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of medically fragile children. With two immediate openings available, this position offers the chance to work one-on-one with students who require attentive, individualized nursing care.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active, valid MA RN or LPN license required
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric patients is highly valued
  • Ability to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams for optimal student support
  • Dependable and adaptable, with caring bedside manner for medically fragile children
  • Must be comfortable riding the school bus and providing care in transit
  • Experience with medically complex cases preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one nursing care to assigned student throughout the school day, including during bus transportation
  • Monitor, assess, and address student health needs in real time
  • Communicate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers to coordinate effective care
  • Maintain accurate and timely health records following agency and school protocols
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
  • Support students to access their educational environment safely
