Elementary 1:1 School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Cambridge, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered LPN license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, especially elementary school-aged children, is preferred
• Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and ability to adapt care accordingly
• Capacity to monitor and respond to medical needs promptly in a school setting
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional practice standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to one student, supporting their unique medical requirements throughout the school day
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and manage health interventions as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation of care delivered and communication of any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel
• Assist the student with activities of daily living and facilitate participation in classroom and school activities
• Serve as a resource for health and wellness in the school community, encouraging a safe and supportive environment
