Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Nursing License as an RN or LPN
• Willingness and ability to obtain all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Demonstrated experience caring for patients with tracheostomies, G-tubes, ventilators, and administering breathing treatments
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued, but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills with students, parents, and school personnel
• Organized, flexible, and able to respond quickly in fast-paced situations
• Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical health practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students with complex medical needs, including management of tracheostomies, G-tubes, ventilators, and respiratory treatments
• Monitor students’ health, respond to medical emergencies, and participate in care planning as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Administer medications and manage health records in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure individualized care and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment
• Educate students and staff on health conditions, wellness, and safety
• Uphold all privacy, documentation, and safety protocols at all times
