School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Cartersville, Georgia

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in Georgia
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric care
• Proficient in monitoring vital signs, administering tube feedings, and performing assessments
• Skilled with ADL assistance, safe transfers, and seizure management, including VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulation) support
• Familiarity with asthma care and use of suction machines
• Attentive, compassionate, and detail-oriented professional with strong documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, individualized care for a student from July 6th through July 16th, 2026
• Monitor and document the student’s health status, responding promptly to any medical needs or emergencies
• Oversee tube feedings, manage all aspects of seizure protocol, and operate or assist with VNS as needed
• Support all daily living activities and ensure safe mobility or transfers throughout the school environment
• Administer asthma care, including the use of a suction machine, as directed
• Maintain clear, thorough communication with faculty and parents as appropriate
