A specialized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is available for the 2026-27 school year, providing dedicated 1:1 nursing support to a first-grade student. This contract position is located in Centralia, WA, with work hours totaling 32.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing care tailored to the health needs of a first-grade student.
  • Monitor and manage any medical conditions or emergencies in a school setting.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
  • Provide health education and guidance as needed to staff and students.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN/LVN license with current state certification.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably within a school or educational environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to handle sensitive health situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with managing individualized healthcare plans (IHPs).
