School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Charlotte, North Carolina

This contract opportunity is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented LPN/LVN who thrives in one-on-one settings and enjoys collaborating with educational staff. The assignment is expected to run from as soon as possible through the last week of May, with hours approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM during school days.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, current LPN license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Comfortable with diaper changes and catheter care
• Empathy, discretion, and strong communication skills essential
• CPR certification highly desirable
• Ability to commit through the end of the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, daily health care support to a student with health impairments
• Assist with all hygiene needs, including diaper and catheter changing as necessary
• Monitor student’s condition and respond to immediate medical needs
• Support staff with safe transportation and integration of student into classroom activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Communicate proactively with school professionals and student’s family as needed
