Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Charlotte, NC

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential health support to a student in the mid-elementary school range. This contract position is based in Charlotte, NC, and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a school setting by assisting a student with health impairments throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care and support to a student with specific health needs from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Assist with diaper changes and catheter care as required to ensure the student's comfort and health.
• Monitor the student's condition and communicate any changes promptly to the appropriate school personnel.
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with nursing standards and school policies.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to create a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Previous experience working in school health settings or pediatric care preferred.
• Ability to manage catheter and diaper care professionally and sensitively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with school staff and families.
• Reliable and attentive with a dedication to supporting student health and well-being.

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year, concluding in the last week of May.
