As a school nurse providing direct care under the guidance of a Certified School Nurse (CSN), your expertise and compassion will play a crucial role in enhancing the daily lives of students. This full-time position offers 30 hours per week, with an assignment running from ASAP through June 8, 2027.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and valid LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience in a school setting or providing healthcare to children/adolescents preferred
• Skilled in general nursing care, medication administration, first aid, and health assessments
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Dedication to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing services to students as directed by the Certified School Nurse
• Administer medications, first aid, and emergency care in accordance with school policy and physician orders
• Monitor and address student health concerns and chronic condition management
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Support health education and wellness initiatives within the school community
• Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding student health needs
