School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Clio, SC

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina LPN license required
• Prior experience in a school environment preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload including both 1:1 student care and broader health support for multiple students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassion, adaptability, and a collaborative attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized healthcare to students with a variety of medical diagnoses
• Monitor, document, and report on student health status and interventions
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures in compliance with state guidelines and school policies
• Provide health education and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Respond effectively to health emergencies within the school setting
• Communicate with families and teachers regarding student care as needed
