School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Concord, NH

This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional passionate about working with youth and providing attentive 1:1 care. You'll be assisting two students, ensuring their health needs are met throughout the school year and during an extended four-week summer session.

This role aligns perfectly with compassionate nurses who thrive in a collaborative, school-based environment and are looking for a dynamic schedule. The main school year runs Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, with additional summer coverage from July 7 to July 28 (Monday through Thursday, 4 hours daily; specific timing to be finalized).

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid LPN/LVN license for New Hampshire or eligibility for reciprocity
• Recent experience supporting children or adolescents in educational or pediatric environments
• Ability to deliver individualized healthcare to students with professionalism and empathy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• CPR and First Aid certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care tailored to the unique needs of two students during school hours and summer programming
• Administer daily medications, treatments, and monitor students’ medical conditions
• Respond effectively to emergencies and maintain accurate health documentation
• Maintain ongoing communication with education staff and parents regarding student care plans
• Participate in team meetings and assist with health education initiatives as needed
