This essential role involves 1:1 care for two students throughout the regular school year and extends to a focused four-week summer session. Key Qualifications:
- Active LPN/LVN license in New Hampshire
- Recent experience providing pediatric or school-based nursing care
- Proficiency in delivering individualized support to students with unique healthcare needs
- Skillful in communication with students, families, and school teams
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to respond promptly to evolving situations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver ongoing 1:1 nursing care for two middle school students throughout the academic year
- Follow care plans, administer medications, and monitor for changes in students’ health status
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student well-being and safety
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care provided and health concerns observed
- Ensure compliance with all school, state, and federal regulations governing student support services
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to holistic care strategies as needed
This position offers a unique blend of steady school year hours (8:15 AM – 3:45 PM) and a structured four-week summer schedule (July 7 – July 28, Monday-Thursday, 4 hours per day, with timing to be determined).
