A healthcare role is available for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with experience in school settings, located in Concord, NH. This contract position offers full-time, one-on-one nursing opportunities working closely with students who require individualized care. The assignment duration extends through the school year (NSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing support to students on a 1:1 basis within a school environment
  • Manage various healthcare needs including trach care, G-tube feeding, ventilator support, seizure monitoring, diabetic care, toileting assistance, and bus riding supervision as applicable
  • Support students in their academic activities when needed during the school day
  • Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Follow individual student medical plans to deliver appropriate care

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
  • Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred
  • Comfort and competence managing complex medical needs such as tracheostomies, gastrostomy tubes, ventilators, seizures, and diabetes
  • Ability and willingness to assist with toileting and accompany students on bus rides
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate care effectively

Additional Information:

  • Open caseloads across various medical needs with all assignments providing 1:1 nursing care
  • Positions located primarily in the Manchester, NH area with some bus riding responsibilities
  • Candidates must specify their comfort levels with care tasks including medical procedures and supporting academics
