Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN or LVN license in the state of California
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Understanding of school protocols, immunization requirements, and health screenings
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently
• CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid, medications, and routine health procedures to students
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in line with school and state guidelines
• Assist with management of chronic health conditions (such as diabetes, asthma, allergies)
• Perform health assessments, screening, and infection control as needed
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students, staff, and parents on health-related matters
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators regarding students’ health plans
• Support compliance with public health guidelines and participate in health-related education initiatives
