School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Cranston, Rhode Island

This contract opportunity is ideal for LPNs/LVNs with school-based experience, eager to make a difference through dedicated 1:1 care. Your assignment includes working closely with an elementary-aged student during both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the following school year (NSY), ensuring continuous, compassionate support.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid LPN or LVN license in Rhode Island
• Previous pediatric experience, especially in a school environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and the ability to work independently in a 1:1 setting
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and health monitoring for one elementary school student
• Follow and implement individualized healthcare plans
• Administer prescribed medications and support daily activities
• Collaborate with school staff and the student’s family for seamless care
• Maintain accurate records of care provided

Work Schedule:

• ESY: July 6th, 2026 – July 30th, 2026, Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm
• NSY: Begins August 26th, 2026, full-time hours
