School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Dacula, GA

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity providing direct, one-on-one care to a student within an educational setting near Dacula, GA. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact by supporting the health and safety of a 5th grader with specialized medical needs throughout the school year. Work closely with both the student and school personnel to ensure seamless care and integration, in accordance with the student’s IEP and medical directives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of Georgia
• Previous experience in a 1:1 school-based role is highly desirable
• Comfortable with g-tube feeding, supply and monitoring of supplemental oxygen, seizure protocols, medication administration, and oral suctioning
• Experience handling asthma, G/J-tubes, and vital sign monitoring
• Ability and willingness to start the day at the student’s home and ride the bus to and from school as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily care for a 5th grade student, including g-tube feeding, supplemental oxygen administration, oral suctioning, and monitoring of seizures
• Administer medications as prescribed and document all health-related activities accurately
• Meet the student at their home each morning to assist with the start of the school day, accompany the student on the bus, and escort them home in the afternoon
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and family to ensure the student’s well-being according to their IEP and doctor's orders
• Remain vigilant throughout the day to respond promptly to any changes in the student’s status

This contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday.
