Step into a fulfilling contract role as a dedicated nurse providing 1:1 care for a high school female student in the Lansdale/Doylestown area. In this position, your support will make a direct impact on the well-being and school experience of a student with complex medical needs, allowing her to thrive in her educational environment.

You’ll accompany the student throughout her day, starting by meeting at her Lansdale residence to ride the bus to and from school. Your role will be instrumental from early morning (around 6:30–6:45 a.m.) until her return home in the afternoon (approximately 2:30–2:45 p.m.).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania
  • Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
  • Experience with G tubes, tracheostomy care, medication administration, and suctioning
  • Familiarity with non-ambulatory care, repositioning, and lifting protocols
  • PDE clearances required prior to start
  • Reliable, compassionate professional with meticulous attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care and support throughout the student’s day
  • Manage G tube feedings, medications, tracheostomy suctioning, and monitor O2/pulse oximeter as needed
  • Assist with stander program, diaper changes, repositioning care, and lifting
  • Maintain clear documentation, uphold student’s safety, and communicate effectively with educational staff and family
  • Ensure a compassionate and respectful environment, empowering your student to engage in her school day
