School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - East Weymouth, MA

We're seeking enthusiastic and compassionate RN or LPN professionals to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a medically fragile student. This contract role offers immediate starts and includes both part-time and full-time possibilities, giving you flexibility to fit your schedule. There are two positions available and a potential to extend into the summer session.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid MA LPN or RN license
• Previous experience with pediatric care or working in a school setting is desirable
• Ability to provide high-quality, individualized nursing care for students with medical needs
• Commitment and punctuality, especially with bus riding required to support the student’s daily commute
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care to a medically fragile child throughout the school day and during transport on the bus
• Monitor health status and respond to medical needs promptly and effectively
• Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and document care according to school policies
• Communicate proactively with the school nursing team, teachers, and the child’s family
• Participate in planning for summer school (ESY) support from July 1 through August 6
