Key Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts LPN or RN license is required
  • Recent experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to respond quickly and calmly
  • Ability and willingness to ride the bus with the student as part of the daily routine
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and comfortable maintaining confidentiality

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a medically fragile student throughout the school day and during transportation
  • Monitor and address daily medical needs, medication administration, and emergency response if necessary
  • Communicate professionally with families, school teams, and health care providers to coordinate student care
  • Maintain detailed documentation of health interventions and observations
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive educational environment
