School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - East Weymouth, Massachusetts

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a licensed nurse with this contract school-based position. This opportunity extends for the entire 2026-2027 academic year and includes summer school coverage. You will provide 1:1 care for a student who uses a wheelchair and requires specialized medical support, such as tracheostomy care, G-tube feeding, toileting assistance, and suctioning. Van riding is necessary to ensure safe transportation to and from school and activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license is required
• Previous pediatric or school nursing experience strongly preferred
• Comfort with trach care, G-tube feeding, suctioning, toileting, and wheelchair transfers
• Ability to provide consistent, attentive care in a 1:1 setting
• Must be willing to ride school transport vans as part of daily responsibilities
• Exceptional communication, reliability, and adaptability

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized care based on student medical needs and care plan
• Administer medications, monitors, and interventions as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
• Collaborate with educational and healthcare teams to ensure safety and inclusivity
• Support the student during school hours and transportation, fostering comfort and engagement
