Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN or RN license
- Experience in pediatric, school, or community health environments
- Ability to respond effectively to medical needs in a school setting
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
- Willingness to ride the school bus and provide care in transit
- Dependability and commitment to the duration of the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized medical care and attention for one student throughout the school day and during bus transportation
- Administer medications, monitor chronic conditions, and address emergencies per physician directives and care plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure consistent, holistic support
- Uphold health and safety protocols, responding promptly to any changes in the student’s well-being
