You’ll be responsible for providing 1:1 care at a local high school, working Wednesdays from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with shortened hours on early release days. The position covers specific Wednesdays through the school year, concluding in mid-June. This is a highly focused role—ideal for nurses seeking meaningful, scheduled work and the ability to build a strong rapport with one student.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN license in Connecticut
• Valid BLS/CPR certification
• Experience working with medically fragile youth or in a pediatric/school setting strongly preferred
• Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and compassionate patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and medical oversight to a designated student throughout the school day
• Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and oversee daily health needs as prescribed
• Collaborate with educational staff and parents to maintain a safe and inclusive environment
• Document and report on the student’s health status, ensuring compliance with all regulations
• Participate in onsite interviews as requested
