School LPN - Forest Lake, Minnesota

A temporary opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide onsite nursing and paraprofessional support in a high school setting. This position involves a combination of nursing duties and paraprofessional assistance, primarily supporting one student on a 1:1 basis with occasional help for other students.

• Forest Lake, MN

Position Details:

• Contract duration: January 5, 2026, through June 5, 2026
• Workdays: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM (7 hours per day)
• Caseload: Approximately 80% paraprofessional work and 20% nursing care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing services and support to a high school student requiring 1:1 assistance
• Collaborate with an Intervener and school staff to meet student needs
• Provide occasional support for other students as needed
• Monitor and document the student’s health status and communicate as appropriate
• Perform nursing interventions and assessments within scope of practice

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN/LVN license
• Experience working in school health environments preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable with providing both nursing and paraeducator support
